We are pleased to announce that three awards have been granted under the 2010 Charlotte Hoyt Bagnall Scholarship. As in previous years, this year's recipients are talented young musicians with a deep appreciation for the role of music in worship. The following is a brief introduction to the recipients:

Abbassi

Jordan Abassi-  Jordan is a freshman at Greenwich High School. He began studying the piano at age six and has been studying organ for the pass two years. He is an organ scholar at Christ Church in Greenwich where is also the head chorister of the Christ Church boys choir

Griifith Evan Griffith - Evan is from New York City and an 11th grader at Horace Mann School. He studies organ at the Manhattan School of Music, Precollege Division. He is the organist at Hebrew Tabernacle Congregation and is an intern organist at Congregation Emanu-El on 5th Ave where his family worships
McMahon

Griffin McMahon - Griffin is also an 11th grader at Longmeadow, Massachusetts high school.  Once a week he travels to New York to study organ at Juilliard pre-college division. He is the choir director and organist of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Longmeadow.
